  1. MegaBack is the Shareware version of the more powerful MegaBack Plus
  2. retail version.  You may order MegaBack Plus for $59, or MegaBack
  3. Standard for $39.  Both products come fully documented and include a
  4. full year of techincal support.  MegaBack Plus customers receive
  5. additional features and utilities not found in MegaBack Standard.
  6. MegaBack Plus is a retail version of MegaBack and is not distributed in
  7. a shareware version.
  8. MegaBack Plus has the following advanced features:
  9.  
  10.    o  Recover backup indexes from individual backup diskettes with a
  11.       unique index recovery utility.  MegaBack already provides a
  12.       utility to reover backup indexes from the last backup diskette.
  13.       This utility can be useful if the last backup diskette is lost or
  14.       unreadable.
  15.  
  16.    o  Track multiple backup index sets automatically with menu creation
  17.       and selection of alternate index set names.  Backup index sets can
  18.       be assigned a description as well as a name.
  19.  
  20.    o  Display backup files as easily as you display directory contents.
  21.       A unique DOS command line backup index display command can be used
  22.       like the DOS DIR command to quickly list the contents of the
  23.       backup index by filename or wildcard name.
  24.  
  25.    o  Analyze backup system usage through useful log reports.  The
  26.       backup log analysis program analyzes MegaBack's log to summmarize
  27.       and report on your backup activity.  This will give you valuable
  28.       statistical information to learn about backup habits and show your
  29.       backup consistencey.  You might be surprised how long you go
  30.       exposed to disaster by not regularly backing up your system!

  32.    o  Protect your data from unauthorized access by password protection
  33.       your backups.  An optional feature lets you attach passwords to
  34.       backup files preventing them from being restored without the
  35.       proper password.

  37.    o  Schedule backups automatically each day they are needed.  MBALARM
  38.       is a seperate utility to be run when your system starts each day.
  39.       It tells you how long it has been since your last backup, and
  40.       shows you summary information so you can decide to start backup or
  41.       not.

  44.       MegaBack Plus with advanced system internal documentation files
  45.       describing the internal format of MegaBack Plus indexes and
